When these fists talk, no-one's deaf!

I've finally started working with the Tank, and I think it's now a solid class for me.  He can often get the kill when others try to approach him, so a Tank can pretty much go where he wants without interference.  This is further complemented in closed spaces, such as the lower half of LazeRazor and the sides of Steel Peel.  The only thing is that I really feel I have to customize him to use him properly.
Basically, it all started when I had a bit of an epiphany.  I couldn't manage working the Scramble Blitze mode with any of my usual strategies.  The biggest obstacle is by far the Gremlins.  They can swarm me easily, and then I need some kind of sweeping move to deal with them.  Gunner's Slam is alright for this, but it doesn't finish the job.  Once it occurred to me that the Tank just about never dies and that he can just hit all around him, everything else just came together.  I put up a Shaveice and everything was just gravy.
What started to give me the right idea was when I went one-on-one with a friend who's just not really good at the game.  I find that's always a good launching pad for new ideas: try them on someone with low skill mostly so that you can mess around with it, but still have a mind that can try to resist you.  The evolution can progress as you play more skilled opponents.  Anyway, my Tank was just getting everything really easily.  I wasn't dying, but I was getting juice from all the success I had.  Eventually, I just juiced up and easily took down the turrets.  I've never had an easier time destroying turrets than with a Tank, and that's always my highest priority.  Of course, I see that I have to upgrade my passive skill when I start, but I don't really need any upgrades after that.  I can realistically just save up my money for juice, or else improve my Deploy to level 3 once I'm in the base with its shields down.

My job is to be the immovable force.  That's not to say I rush in recklessly, but I make my opponents regret they found me.  I can burn out my close combat damage better than any character.  Initially, I kinda get to go character hunting, but it's more like they try hunting me.  I've gotta get those kills so that I can taunt and get money.  All the while, I should be getting a feel for how my opponents are working with their base.  Once I get juice, or at least have the money to get it, I can rush the base and take out all those turrets.  My job's complete by that time; I don't care if they kill me.  Afterward, it's just a matter of escorting bots and burning down the money ball.
