Siberian Blizzard revised

When Super Street Fighter 4 was released, I committed myself to getting Zangief's new Siberian Blizzard down enough that I could use it consistently when I needed it, and only then would I decide whether it was worthwhile.  It turns out that was time well-spent, as I swear by it in over half the matchups.  Of course, I've had one heck of a journey identifying where it's appropriate and where it's not.  Believe me, it was a journey full of surprises. A beginner's guide to the Dragon Ball Z CCG

  Last time, I wrote a little something going over the various styles & characters for the Dragon Ball Z CCG.  That was made to help people figure out how they like to play and pinpoint the best way to get into that.  It was fun to write, but I really don't feel like it helped much more than my ego.  This post is for all those right at the very bottom entry level of the game who haven't even played the game yet.  Maybe you haven't even purchased cards and are curious what it's all about.  Maybe you're confused with the rule book.  Whatever it is, I'm here to get you started.

The importance of failure

Well, sad news today.  I lost terribly at my Street Fighter 4 tournament yesterday.  I didn't get one win during that.  In casuals though, I cleaned up, so I feel I learned some things from it.   This video released just days before our tournament, so it should be no surprise that Zangief was the favorite character to use.  It gave me a lot of insight on the mirror match I definitely had to endure.  Read more to find out what lessons were learned from this.
